Meatless Cabbage Rolls RecipeTo prepare this delicious meal with sauerkraut as the basic ingredient, we need to supply a head of sauerkraut (or our sauerkraut leaves), a glass of white beans, 3 onions, oil, flour, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.

Put the beans in the cold water and let is stay over night.  Tomorrow, boil the beans just like when you boil bean soup, but throw away the first water it has been boiled in.  After it has been boiled, decant it, but preserve the water.  Cut onions into small pieces and fry it in the pan, then mix with beans.  Use the mix you just created to stuff the cabbage rolls, just as when you are making the regular cabbage rolls.  Put the cabbage rolls into a fire proof dish or a cooking pot, but make sure the bottom of the dish is covered with sauerkraut leaves.  Pour some of the water you preserved from boiling beans over the cabbage rolls and bake everything in the oven at 200 C.  When all the water has evaporated, the meal is ready.  As you get close to the end, pour some brown flour (made with cayenne pepper, oil and flour).
